Cyber Truck Fueling
The Cybertruck can charge quite rapidly at a rate of 250 kilowatts using the latest V3 version of Tesla’s chargers. The Cybertruck can use Tesla’s huge electric supercharger network, which now includes more than 14,000 chargers.
Cybertruck Feature Highlights
Autopilot/Auto Driving
Buyers can choose the self-driving option for an additional cost that adds features like Tesla’s full self-driving abilities, automatic parking, and trailer docking. In contrast, no vehicle currently in production is capable of truly autonomous driving.
Adaptive Air Suspension
The Cybertruck can lift and lower its height accordingly and lower its rear, enabling smooth loading of motorcycles and ATVs through an integrated ramp.
17-Inch Touchscreen
The interior of the Cybertruck has a large and centrally mounted touch screen like the rest of Tesla’s lineup through which most vehicle operations are conducted. A large infotainment screen in front and center will control the vehicle’s maximum functions, including navigation and climate control.
Yoke Steering Wheel
The steering wheel is not round like a standard one but instead constructed like the yoke of an airplane. The steering wheel shown looks more like a video game controller than what you’d find in any other standard car.
Digital Rearview Mirror
When depressed, the rolling cargo of the truck cover blocks the driver’s rear-view. So, manufacturers added a digital rear-view mirror that displays a rear-facing camera at the vehicle’s back.
Elon Musk revealed more details about the cybertruck in the months after the launch mentioned below:
- The rear will likely be accessible from the second row of seats.
- The truck will pump the HVAC to the rear vault while the cover is closed.
- The truck will offer the option to add solar panels to the rear, boosting the range by 15 miles per day. A fold-out version could extend.
- Tesla is aiming for a best-case drag coefficient of 0.30
- A “biased” Bioweapon Defense System is supposed to be included, which is used to filter the air.
According to an earlier report, the first cybertrucks to reach production will be the most potent, tri-motor variants. Tesla will build more affordable versions of the cybertruck in 2022.
Final Words
The interior of the cybertruck has unconventional design ideas and unique touches as wild as the exterior. The cabin is extensive, with seating for six below a large panoramic sunroof. A low dashboard allows for expansive visibility with a simple design language with few knobs and buttons. Within the next few years, we are all likely to see cybertrucks operational and on the road.
