Lamborghini Veneno
The Lamborghini Veneno is one of the world’s most expensive and exclusive cars. With a price tag of over 4 million, it’s also one of the most expensive cars ever made. But what sets the Veneno apart is its performance. This car houses a massive V12 engine that produces over 750 horsepower. This allows the Veneno to reach a top speed of 221 miles per hour. In addition to its incredible speed, the Veneno is one of the loudest cars on the road.
Its exhaust system is so loud that it can easily be heard from over a mile away. And like the 911 GTI Strassenversion, the Veneno lacks many of the features that make other cars street-legal. It’s also not equipped with airbags or seat belts. Shockingly, you are allowed to drive it on the road!
Tramontana R
The Tramontana R is a high-performance sports car that was first introduced in 2006. The vehicle is manufactured by the Spanish company Santa Cruz Automotive. The Tramontana R has a unique design that features a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and an all-wheel drive system. The car is powered by a twin-turbocharged V12 engine that produces over 1,000 horsepower. The Tramontana R has a top speed of 217 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. In addition to its impressive performance capabilities, the Tramontana R is one of the most exclusive cars on the market, with only 12 units being produced to date.
And even though only a handful of these cars exist, you can still find them on the streets. But driving one comes with a few risks. Besides the obvious danger of crashing such an expensive car, the Tramontana R is also not equipped with any safety features. So if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one of these rare vehicles, be sure to drive carefully!
Mosler Consulier GTP
The Mosler Consulier GTP was a unique sports car that was produced from 1985 to 1993. The brainchild of Warren Mosler, the Consulier GTP, was designed to be lightweight and nimble, with a body made mostly of fiberglass and Kevlar. It also featured a mid-engine layout and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which helped it achieve excellent performance. However, the car’s unusual design and high price tag meant it never found mass appeal, and production was eventually discontinued. But, there were still a few hundred Consulier GTPs made, and some of them can still be found on the road today.
Unfortunately, despite its rarity, the Consulier GTP is not a car that you should take lightly. In addition to being notoriously difficult to drive, this car is also not equipped with any safety features. Even worse, the fiberglass body is not very strong, and the car lacks a roll cage. So if you’re lucky enough to find one of these cars on the road, be sure to give it a wide berth!
There Are Some Cars That Just Shouldn’t Be Road Legal!
As you can see, several cars shouldn’t be road legal. Whether it’s because of their lack of safety features, prohibitively expensive price tag, or difficult-to-drive design, these cars are best left to the racetrack. So if you’re lucky enough to spot one of these rare vehicles on the road, take a picture! But you should also be sure to keep your distance, just to be safe.
