2022 Ford Ecosport
While attempting to keep up with the competition, Ford lacks quality with the EcoSport. It’s a small crossover SUV that comes from the Fiesta platform. The second generation of the EcoSport was given a 2017 facelift which morphed it into a more sophisticated design; however, time and continuous production have dulled its reputation. Now in 2022, the device doesn’t excel compared to other similar products on the market. This SUV is significantly shorter than most others on the market which unfortunately translates to less interior space. This lack of space makes for an uncomfortable ride for everyone but the driver. Despite better performance figures than some comparable vehicles, the 2022 EcoSport is no match for most of its competitors. The 0-60 mph takes 10.4 seconds and can complete the quarter-mile in 16.9 seconds. Compared to the Mazda CX-30, with a 0-60 mph time of 8.2 seconds, the EcoSport seems slow and sluggish. So for those looking for a roomy and quick small SUV, the Ford EcoSport doesn’t deliver.
