2023 Ford Ranger
The all-new 2023 Ford Ranger is set to release very soon! The midsize pickup truck has been completely redesigned and promises to be a much better vehicle than the previous generation. The turbocharged 2.3-liter 4-cylinder and 10-speed automatic transmission are almost guaranteed to be placed in the new Ranger. In the previous model, this powertrain delivered 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.
It is believed both these figures will tick upward by perhaps 10 horsepower, along with a similar 10-20 lb-ft boost in torque.
Rear-wheel drive will also be standard, while 4-wheel drive will be optional. The exception is the upcoming Ranger Raptor, which will have a 4-wheel drive as standard. It will also be motivated by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 392 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. So if a truck is what you’re after, the new Ranger should be something you are dreaming about!
